Top Shelf Water is a water filtration and softener installation company that was started in 2026 by two tradesmen. For a combined 40 years, they’d been installing water filtration systems—and what they saw inspired them to start this business.

They saw homeowners get pressured into buying overpriced systems assembled overseas. They heard sales teams close deals fast—recommending whatever system was easiest to pitch—then hand the job off to someone who'd had maybe half a day of training.

Those installers weren’t in-house. They were subcontracted at cut-rate prices, which meant they were disincentivized to do the job right. They dug trenches that were too shallow, undersized the pipes to save on fittings, and cut corners that would show up as problems years later. 

The companies that subcontracted them didn't care, either. They’d offloaded the liability onto the installers and moved on.

There had to be a better way.

At Top Shelf Water, we install Texas-made systems using quality materials, trench to code every time, and stand behind every job with a lifetime manufacturer warranty. We send photos of the trench before we fill it and walk you through how to use and maintain your system. And we’ll always tell you our price upfront. (It’s the same price we’d quote your neighbor.)
